Brewio ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the Brewio mobile application, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email address from the authentication provider. We store this to identify your account and personalise your experience.
Content You Create
We store the data you enter in the app, including:
- Brew logs — method, dose, grind size, tasting notes, ratings
- Bean stash entries — name, roaster, roast date, weight
- Custom recipes you create
- Profile preferences and settings
Usage Data
We may collect anonymised usage data (e.g. which features are used most often) to improve the app. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.
Purchase Information
If you subscribe to Brewio Premium, purchases are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. We never store your payment card details — these are handled entirely by Apple or Google.

4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure hosted in the European Union. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production data is strictly limited to essential personnel only.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Export your data in a portable format
- Object to or restrict certain processing

7. Children's Privacy
Brewio is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "last updated" date at the top. For significant changes, we will notify you through the app or by email.
