1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Brewio ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Description of Service

Brewio is a mobile application for coffee enthusiasts. The App allows users to:

• Log and track coffee brews with detailed parameters and ratings
• Follow step-by-step brewing guides and timers for 12+ methods
• Manage a coffee bean stash with freshness tracking
• Calculate dose, water ratio, and extraction yield
• Discover specialty coffee roasters worldwide
• Track brewing streaks and earn achievement badges

Some features require a Brewio Premium subscription. Features available under each tier are described within the App and may change over time.

3. User Accounts

To use Brewio, you must create an account using Apple Sign In or Google Sign In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.

You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Brewio offers a free tier and an optional Brewio Premium subscription. Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms.

Billing

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the plan you select. Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account upon confirmation of purchase.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial subscription periods.

Free Trial

Where offered, free trials convert to a paid subscription automatically at the end of the trial period unless cancelled beforehand.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create in the App (brew logs, notes, recipes). By using the App, you grant us a limited licence to store and process this content solely to provide the service to you.

You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any applicable laws or third-party rights.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the App or its infrastructure
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use automated tools to scrape or collect data from the App
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, text, graphics, and branding, is owned by Brewio and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or brand features without our prior written consent.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Brewing guides and calculators in the App are provided for informational purposes only. Results may vary based on equipment, ingredients, and technique.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Brewio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these terms or engage in conduct we determine to be harmful to other users or the App.

You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.
